The Magic Swing Set

What would happen if you swung all the way over a swing set? Would
the world change? Would you? In this story, two friends experience what
happens when you take a trip over the Magic Swing Set.

All of You ... and Then Some

This a collection of glimpses into the lives of the young lovers from my drabble, All of You. I'm still experimenting with this new format. I've decided to follow Laika's suggestion and have (at least in my own mind) christened this writing style a drabble cycle, meaning a collection of related stories, each being exactly 100 words in length. I'd love to hear from anyone who has any thoughts on this experiment. Thank you :)

All of You

This drabble is a bit more mature than what I usually write, which
is why I set the audience rating to mature. It's more romantic than
sexual, but it does show adults being a bit ... ummm ... intimate.
Anyway, let me post this before the intro winds up being longer than
the drabble. ;)

The REAL Story of Little Red Riding Hood

So, you think you know all about the story about Little Red Riding
Hood? Well, if you're going by the stories I been hearing passed around
these days, you don't know nothing 'bout what actually happened. Now
you might think I'm a bit daft if I told you I was around to see what
really happened...so I ain't gonna say it.

What I will say is I'm old enough to know a thing or two 'bout a thing
or two. So set yourself down for a spell and I'll tell you the REAL
story about Little Red Riding Hood.

Bobby's Rainy Day Adventure - Chapter V

Still in the dress he wound up wearing while playing 'Mommy and Baby'
with Cori, Bobby runs through a poorly lit hospital parking lot to see
his mother, who's just been in a car accident. But running though dark
parking lots, even at best of times, is never a very good idea.

Bobby's Rainy Day Adventure - Chapter IV

In chapter four, Bobby has fun playing 'Mommy and Baby' with Cori until Terri bursts into Cori's room with some shocking news.

CHAPTER IV

Home

Home means a lot of things to different people. To me, it's a place
where you find unconditional love and acceptance. There are a number of
places I've found that felt like home. This story is about a slightly
different kind of place one might call home where I get to meet a
slightly different version of a very special person many of you might
have heard of.

Gender Express

Peer pressure can be tough ... really tough. So what do you do when all
your friends are changing genders? Go to Gender Express, of course. ;)

My Name is Luka

This story is based on one of my favorite songs by Suzanne Vega called Luka. Although the story is about an abused child, I've done my best to only suggest what has happened without getting into anything graphic. Just the same, it wasn't an easy story to write.

Shoes

What do shoes have to do with a teenage boy understanding some major
life changes his younger sibling is going through? Read on and find
out. :)

Bobby's Rainy Day Adventure: Chapter III

Dinner conversation turns into an asparagus eating contest between Bobby and Cori. But why is Cori grinning like that, and what game will she want to play if she wins?

Bobby's Rainy Day Adventure: Chapter II

Bobby is upstairs soaking in a nice warm bubblebath upstairs; his muddy clothes are in the washer downstairs. What will he wear when he's done his bath? Aunt Joan provides a solution, while Corina and her sister help Bobby get ready for dinner.

Bobby's Rainy Day Adventure: Chapter I

Trying to find his new home in the pouring rain, Bobby winds up falling
into a mud puddle and is soaked from head to toe. A neighbor girl
offers to takes Bobby home, where his rainy day adventure begins.

The Wardrobe

This is the story of a middle-aged man who's been fighting the voices in his head telling him he's really a girl, and what he does when he hears a new yet strangely familiar voice. This story is loosely based on the Chronicals of Narnia. It's intended to stand alone, although I may add to it some time after I finish writing Bobby's Rainy Day Adventure.
