The Great Shift- Mulligans Part 2

By Danielle J - Posted on 28 February 2010

"I needed a break from the music, anyway," Donna said as she ordered a drink from a waitress. "What do you do? I'm a nurse at Miami Jackson."

"I play professional golf," I admitted.

"Wow, that must be exciting. You must go to lots of great places then."

I then saw Grace come back into the club. Seeing me with Donna, she smiled at me. "If Toledo and Youngstown are exciting," I replied.

"Stop it with the wise ass remarks," I said angrily. "You aren't helping. I'm trying the best I can. It's six years at least since I swung a club, and longer since I played regularly."

Tree looked long and hard at me.

"I need your help. So help me," I said.

"Okay, but this is going to be a long day."

TO GOOD TO BE TRUE

By Ron - Posted on 22 February 2010

The year is 2240 and the world’s governments have crumbled throwing society back into the feudal days of Kings and Emperors. City states grew out of the rubble and they were fought for and fought over constantly. Technology had brought the world to this place in time and now it was being used to defend or attack the city states. Powerful force fields were erected around each city protecting it against attack and allowing its citizens to live in relative safety from attack. Every few months the city states would gather at a common area and battle it out for supremacy; they thought it was more civilized to send in a few gladiators to do battle than to risk most of the lives of their citizens in an all out battle. The gladiators that lost would then be given over to the winning city to be used as slaves or worse! Schools for gladiator training were all over the cities and every boy was encouraged to join one of these schools. Several girls protested that they were not allowed to join and they were told that they were the seed of the future and that they were not going to be risked being turned over to the other cities because of a lost battle. I was born into this society and was expected by my father to be a great gladiator hero like he was and like my brother. My mother thought otherwise and would try whatever she could to protect me and keep me from joining one of the gladiator schools.

FAMILY
BY RONI

The morning was dark and dismal; another rainy day, that would make ten in a row. I was not used to having so much rain. I had just moved to the West coast because my job brought me here; it was easy for me to move around because I have no family to speak of. I was an only child and my parents were killed in a car accident when I was eighteen so I was effectively alone. I didn’t know my grandparents on either side; dad had always told me that they were back in Eastern Europe somewhere but never got very specific. I guess I could have done some research to find out but frankly I didn’t care that much. I entered the military shortly after my parent’s death and did two tours in Iraq before I left the military to peruse other ventures.

CHOICES

CHOICES
BY RONI
There are times in your life that will define who and what you are; at those times what you do will determine how your future will unfold. Looking back on your life you can see just where those moments were and what you did to make you the person you are today. I was at such a moment not too long ago and looking back at my decision I don’t think I would have made it differently had I known how my life would have changed so drastically. Let me explain what I did to lead me to where I am now.

Two years ago I was faced with a decision; you see I have been a crossdresser all my life, as far back as I could remember I would always prefer to wear my sisters clothes rather than my own. To my benefit my mother knew and said nothing about it, she would allow me my dress up time with my sister and we would have fun. This continued right up till the day my sister went off to University and moved out of the house taking with her all her clothes. I was left with only a couple of pairs of panties and a bra; not much for a guy who loves to get fully dressed with makeup and all. I tried to cope with the loss of my dress up time but I got depressed and moody sulking around the house. Dad was unaware of my hobby of dressing for mom never told him so he was unaware as to why I was so depressed. Mom came to me one night and talked.

Teacup Roses, Guitars, a Bus Pass and a Mistaken Identity
(A Danny Fairchild Story)

by Bobbie Cabot

This little interlude is set somewhere in the middle of the events of Chapter 8 of the still unfinished story, “Danny.” This does not materially contribute to that story, but is more like “a day in the life” type of story of the main character, Danny. This story can stand on its own somewhat, but it would be good to read Danny, unfinished though it is, to get a background on the story and characters (You can find the story, "Danny" here in Stardust. See http://stardustr.us/content/danny )
