I walked in that smooth boneless gait of the aliens without even thinking about it any more. Just as automatic was my expressionless face as I pretended to busy. It appeared that the gold standard in slacking off still worked with humanity under different management or not. As long as you acted and looked as if you were busy, no one bothered you.

DECLARATION: This story is an original literary work.  I wrote a fantasy to stretch my creative muscles and mess with dentists a little.  All doctors, scientists, magical entities, victims, antagonists, and Wizards in this work are fictional.  Any resemblance to anyone living, dead, or born in the future, is purely coincidental, or possibly intentional, but I promise no one will know the difference.

Off The Deep End ~ Part 2

"Good. You're awake," said a girl's voice.

"Huh? Whah?" I burbled groggily at the pretty fish girl I saw hovering in front of me. She looked to be around sixteen and was about the cutest girl I'd ever seen. Definitely the cutest mermaid.

I was still in the beach chair in the seashell castle's courtyard. My legs felt fat and funny and there was something sitting on my chest. She said, "Please don't panic, but in order to save you from drowning we had to-"

Of course when she told me "don't panic" like this it's exactly what I did do, but only for a second. I looked down and saw what was on my chest. It was my chest. Beneath these two beautiful breasts my waist narrowed and then flared out into girlish hips that were covered in pretty jade green scales, which continued down the long sleek shiny tail I now had for legs. I gazed down at it in amazement, wagging it back + forth experimentally. And this stuff floating around my face wasn't some kind of seaweed but my hair, super long and shimmering like gold.

SRU: Operation Sucker Punch

The top brass at Spellcrafters Inc. have it in for the Spells R Us wizard. They've brought in hired muscle from overseas to do their dirty work- a ruthless and powerful mercenary sorcerer named Necromancer Sato. Can Wizzie survive their deadly scheme? And will our "somewhat ridiculous heroine" Wendy manage to avoid getting caught in the crossfire? This is an evil little story about an extremely nasty bunch of people. In the words of William Burroughs, "Hold back the edges of your gowns, Ladies. We are entering Hell..."

THE LIBRARY: REWRITE

The Library: Rewrite

Ghosts in the library. A fairly common story for Halloween . Telling such stories, especially around a campfire at night, is fun. Heck, it’s almost a tradition – a ghostly figure that you see from the corner of your eye as you work on your homework in the library, eerie sounds, unexplained movements like doors closing or chairs moving et cetera. Old hat. Hackneyed, even. Thing is, I was the one who saw them, experienced them. It might even have been okay if that was all, and if they just happen occasionally, and at night. But the thing was, the weird stuff started happening in the daytime as well, and during class. And it all started when my eyes changed color…

How Do You Misspell Potion? Chapter 1

How Do You Misspell Potion? Chapter 1

DECEMBER 4, 2008

Dear Diary, today Auntie Mercedes came to see momma, she was crying and angry, real angry. I couldn’t help but listen in, momma had forgotten I was there and Auntie Mercedes was in no mood to see anyone or anything except the target of her anger. Problem is that most of their conversation is in Visayan and Tagalog, too many words I don’t know and at a mile a minuet.  As she yelled and wailed I flashed back to my own bone of contention, momma is a practitioner of potions. I don’t know if that makes her a witch, but her results are either magic or sorcery. Now more times than not, I forget that I used to be her father in law, not one of the twins, heck according to the birth certificate that the navy drummed up, I’m not even the older twin, Connie is.
