A Change in Season Brings A Decision

Today marks the end of spring and the beginning of summer and just like the changing of seasons I myself have reached a point where I too must make a change. It won't be an easy choice and I find myself at a park near our home siting on a bench lost in thought. I only have a couple of hours before I am due back home and give my girlfriend the decision I have made. "Having a good day?" I hear a soft friendly voice say. I hadn't really noticed the woman sit down at the other end of the bench. "Ohhh, ok, I guess." with hesitation. "You looked so deep in thought I couldn't help but ask." she replied. I half smiled and told her "Well, It's really a long story but I have to make a big choice and I am torn about it." She looked into my eyes and with compassion said "Hey, maybe I can help, my friends tell me I'm a good listener and I have plenty of time this afternoon."

A Flat Iron

My story begins on spring day just after my 30th birthday. I learned when I was still a teenager that I was transvestite and had long since come to except it. I also new that I never intended to leave home cross-dressed. I was way too much of a coward to go out in public, not that I couldn't pass for a woman. I had always watched my weight and kept my hair long. I couldn't get into wigs, I wanted to be more real, My legs were ok and I kept my body hair shaved. I even used moisturizer on my face and body lotion to look a little softer. I thinned my brows a little and used a little peroxide to lighten them so I could redo them with a eyebrow pencil. Nothing to give me away though, no one knew about my girlie secret.

For Love and Money

I shot up in bed shaking from the cold sweat that was running down my head, I looked around but nothing looked familiar, except the room itself. I threw off the sheets and sat up in my bed letting my legs hand over the edge. As my feet hit the floor it didn’t feel right something was off but what? I got up and staggered to the bathroom, had I gotten drunk last night? I tried to remember what I had done yesterday but could not remember in fact I could not remember anything! I reached the bathroom and fumbled for the light switch finally finding it I turned on the light and walked in. I felt weak nauseous like I was going to throw up, I reached the toilet and lifted the lid and seat but nothing came out. I lowered the seat and yanked my underwear down and sat down. I peed and then wiped myself; something again didn’t feel right but what?

"Hi, Daddy," I say with a smile as I give him a big hug, and a kiss on the cheek.

"Ooh —," he says with a grin, "I think I'm going to enjoy having a daughter!"

I lie down on the double bed that I have been sitting on throughout our long chat. I feel convinced that I am about to do the right thing. People are depending on me. I want to see if I can pull this off.

"Okay Mom. Call in the Wizards. I'll do it." I manage to get out before fading into a comfortable sleep.

As we say good night, I notice that she is wearing a new necklace. I don't know why I hadn't noticed it earlier. I guess that I am not all that observant at times. Anyway the necklace looks disturbingly familiar. Hanging from a delicate gold chain around her neck is a gold colored charm in the shape of a running shoe.

As I look at it, she says “It reminds me of you.”

She winks at me before heading inside.

As I fade away, the last thing I hear is Mom exclaiming, “We forgot to get some sleepwear!”

“And a swimsuit,” Laurie adds.

I hope that whatever they get won’t be too racy!

“And makeup,” Marla interjects from a distance.

Chapter 11

The next day Ricki woke up an hour later. She had time to luxuriate
in a bubble bath, the warm water soaked out the soreness of the
previous day. She dressed more casually this morning, she wore her
cardinal and gold bikini with her shorts, tank top, and cross trainers.
On her face she just used a little mascara and lipstick. She even did
her nails in a red/gold diagonal pattern. She used the red as a base
coat and then painted half the nail in gold, on a diagonal and covered
everything in a clear coat, as she had been shown.

Bobby Hester needed a beer. It’d been a great day at work, and another deal was done and under his belt. Yes, this was a good day for Bobby. He felt so good he had decided to walk to his apartment from the office, but he was beginning to think he’d made a wrong turn as the streets didn’t look the same as from the back of his usual cab.
